The Bluefield Project to Cure FTD (“we” or “Bluefield”) is committed to protecting the privacy of every individual who uses Bluefield owned and operated websites and mobile applications (collectively, "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what type of information we may collect on the Site, and how we may collect, retain, process, share and transfer information submitted by users of the Site. It also describes how we protect your personal information and how you can contact us with any questions or to exercise the rights you may have to control our use of your information. This Privacy Policy applies only to Bluefield and the Site, and not to third party websites, mobile applications or other online resources that may be mentioned or linked to on the Site. Our Mission

Bluefield is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate the development of therapeutics for frontotemporal degeneration (FTD). The information we collect helps us to continue our work toward our mission. We value the input of users of the Site and are committed to ensuring that we use personal information as stated in this Privacy Policy in furtherance of our mission.

What Information We Collect

Personal Information

We may collect any personal information you choose to provide us, which may include: your name and certain other personally identifiable information, like your email address, telephone number or other contact information. If you sign up to receive our periodic mailings you will have the right to unsubscribe.  Additionally, if you choose to submit questions or seek additional information through the Site, we may keep a record of that information, together with any response we provide through the Site.

Personal Information does not include data or information collected, derived, or otherwise generated from your use of the Site, provided that such data has been anonymized, de-identified, and/or aggregated so as not to identify or permit the identification of you or any other individual (“De-identified Data”). De-identified Data helps us understand trends in usage of the Site so that we can better consider new features or otherwise tailor the Site. In addition to collecting and using De-identified Data ourselves, we may share De-identified Data with third parties, including our partners and service providers, for various purposes, including to help us better understand our customers’ needs and improve the Site and to further our mission.

Cookies and Standard Web Traffic Pattern Information

We use cookies, small files that are sent to your web browser and stored on your computer's hard drive, to improve your digital experience. The cookie is used to speed up your access to the Site and the information you wish to see, but it does not contain any personal information. What Information We Collect

Bluefield does not sell, trade, or rent personal information about its website users. If you provide personal information, we may enter that information into our constituent database and contact you in order to supply you with information, including news relating to FTD research and clinical trials, Bluefield-related news, as well as certain campaigns, events and services provided by third parties.

We currently use Webflow, a third party partner, to collect and maintain personal user information for Bluefield to manage email mailings and other communications on or through the Site. We are not responsible for the practices of Webflow or its websites or applications, and we do not determine nor are responsible for the privacy practices or the content of websites or applications operated by Webflow or other third parties that may be linked to from the Site. Your browsing and interaction with Webflow or on any third-party website or service that has a link on our Site, are subject to that third party’s own rules and privacy policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time and, if so, we will post the new effective date below. If these changes would permit us to share user information more broadly than described above or use that information in a manner that is not described above, we will post an announcement on this Site and/or ask for your consent.
